Differences Between Solutions, Suspensions and Emulsions
The distinction depends on the size of the particles and the solubility of the components. Solutions are uniform mixtures of two or more mutually mixable substances. Suspensions are uniform mixtures of two or more substances. Emulsions are of an unstable mixture of two or more immiscible substances united with the aid of the emulsifier.
