Now, you can clear mild to moderate inflammatory acne without side effects, discomfort, photo-sensitivity or downtime. Acne Clearing treatments utilize a high intensity enhanced light source to permeate the tissue to destroy acne bacteria quickly and easily – with no side effects, no downtime, no pain, and without the exposure to antibiotics. Typically, just ten treatments over a four week period will greatly improve the appearance of skin.

This cystic form of acne is a heartbreaker. Grade IV will display the whole spectrum of acne lesions such as blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, and nodules, it is characterized by the addition of cysts. This type of acne is often accompanied by severe inflammation that becomes very red and even purplish. This type has the potential to be the most scarring type of acne.

This type of acne is a unique type of acne where the face becomes studded with whiteheads. This process is called maturation arrest acne because the comedones do not go ahead and mature into actual blackheads. The whiteheads just continue to get larger. The surface opening never dilates, leaving the dead skin cells or keratinocytes to become trapped inside. Because this is one of the toughest acne to treat, suggested treatment is a series of peels to force the impactions to open up.

Type I acne is the mildest grade of acne and consists primarily of blackheads and whiteheads. If this type of acne develops in a young teenager around the ages of twelve to fourteen it could be a signal toward more severe acne.
A suggested treatment for this type of acne would be slight peeling with vitamin A conditioning lotions. This will usually clear this problem.
