Know and abide by the salon’s tardy or late policy. Many salons set a limited amount of time they allow a client to be late before they require them to reschedule. If your tardy client arrives and you have the time to take her without jeopardizing other clients’ appointments, let your client know why you are taking her even though she is a bit late.

Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats), considered non toxic, orderless, and fast acting. Phenol has been used to disinfect implements, is a caustic poison, but it can be safe/effective if used according to instructions.
Ethyl and Isopropyl alcohol has been used to disinfect implements. Must be no less than 70 percent.
